Abstract
This article explores how the concept of time is expressed through proverbs and idioms in Uzbek and English,analyzing the meaning and nuances conveyed through these expressions. The study also focuses on revealing the time concept and conducts comparative analyses to examine how it is represented through various linguistic units in different languages.
