Abstract
This article provides an in-depth analysis of the role and significance of functional training exercises in improving physical fitness. Within the framework of modern sports pedagogy, functional training has become a strategic tool for developing both general and specific physical qualities in athletes. The article explores the essence of functional training, its fundamental principles, training program structures based on functional methods, and their positive physiological and psychological impacts. The research findings show that such training methods effectively enhance coordination, endurance, speed, and strength in a comprehensive manner. This is particularly relevant for personnel serving in military and law enforcement structures, where physical preparedness is essential. The paper also discusses common challenges encountered during the implementation of functional training sessions and suggests practical solutions for increasing training efficiency and preventing injuries.
