Abstract
This article provides a systematic analysis of the drawbacks and existing barriers to integrating modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into the educational process. The study explores not only the positive aspects of digital transformation but also the negative consequences, such as distractions that hinder academic performance, social inequality caused by the "digital divide," and the physical and mental health impacts of excessive screen time. Furthermore, the paper categorizes pedagogical and technical challenges, including increased teacher workload, deficiencies in technical infrastructure, and cybersecurity concerns. The article concludes with practical recommendations for maintaining a healthy balance between the human element and digital tools in education to ensure effective learning outcomes.
